Mid Year Sale – Refer a Friend Promotion - Terms & Conditions of Entry

1. The Promoter is “Step One Clothing UK Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 12571359 and our registered office is at 1 St James  Court Whitefriars, Norwich, Norfolk, England, NR3 1RU.  
2. The competition is the “Mid Year Sale – Refer a Friend Promotion” (Promotion).  
3. Employees of Step One, its subsidiaries or related companies, together with their families, members of their household or any persons directly or indirectly connected with a particular  Promotion are not eligible to enter such Promotion. 
4. Entry to this Promotion is open only to residents who: 

(a) are 18 years old and over at the time of entry; 

(b) reside in a jurisdiction where it is lawful to conduct the Promotion in accordance  with the Terms & Conditions of entry set out in this document (Terms); and 

(c) purchase at least one pair of Step One underwear during the Promotion Period via  Step One's website at https://uk.stepone.life (Eligible Purchase), a person who satisfies paragraphs 4(a) to (c) is referred to as an “Eligible Entrant”.  

5. The Promotion starts at 08:00am GMT on the 7th of June 2024 and closes at 11:59pm GMT  on the 16th of June 2024 (Promotion Period).  
6. All Eligible Entrants who: 

(a) receive an email from Step One (Email) after making an Eligible Purchase during the Promotion Period and forward the Email to a friend; and 

(b) have the friend purchase at least one part of Step One underwear during the  Promotion Period after clicking the link in the Email provided by the Eligible Entrant  via Step One's website https://uk.stepone.life automatically submit an entry to win £1,000.00 (Successful Entrant). One Successful Entrant  will be randomly and manually selected by the Managing Director of Step One on 20th June  2024 to win £1,000.00. 

7. The total prize value is £1,000.00 cash (Prize Value).  
8. The prize winner will be contacted in writing via private message on Facebook or Instagram.  The prize winner will be announced on the official Step One Facebook and Instagram page  via the original Promotion post. Names of winners are available from Step One upon  request up to one month after the closing date by sending an email to info@stepone.life
9. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into  correspondence regarding the result. 
10. Failure to claim a prize by the time (or if no time is specified, within 28 days from the  Promotion closing date) will make any claim invalid. Step One shall then be entitled to  withdraw that entrant’s right to the prize and select an alternative winner. 
11. Step One accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly  submitted, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to omission, error, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, disruption to any  communication network or medium, or otherwise including those entries not received by  Step One for any reason. Step One is not liable for any consequences of user error including  (without limitation) costs incurred.  

12. To the extent permitted by law, Step One excludes all warranties, representations or  guarantees (Warranties) regarding the Promotion, including any Warranties which may have  been made in the course of advertising or promoting the Promotion. The conduct of the  Promotion may involve third parties, and Step One makes no Warranties and disclaims all  liability in connection with any such third parties, their acts or omissions.  
13. Without limiting any of the foregoing, in no circumstances will an Eligible Entrant or Step  One have any liability to the other for any loss or damage suffered which is indirect or  consequential in nature, including without limitation any loss of profit, loss of reputation,  loss of goodwill, or loss of business opportunity.  
14. Step One may, in its absolute discretion, not accept a particular entry, may disqualify an  entry, or cancel the entire Promotion at any time without giving reasons and without liability  to any Eligible Entrants, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.  Without limiting this, Step One reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims  and Eligible Entrants and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is  misleading or not in accordance with these Terms, or who manipulates or tampers with the  entry process.  
15. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or  significantly hinders Step One’s ability (or that of a third party involved with the Promotion)  to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms,  including but not limited to vandalism, pandemic, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest,  strike, war, act of terrorism, Step One’s obligations in respect of the Promotion will be  suspended for the duration of the event and, in addition, Step One may in its absolute  discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions,  subject to approval of or any written directions from a relevant regulatory authorities.  
16. Eligible Entrants consent to Step One using the personal information provided in connection  with this Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and  awarding any prizes, including to third parties involved in the Promotion and any relevant  authorities. In addition to any use that may be outlined in Step One’s Privacy Policy, Step  One including third parties may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the  personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes,  including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Eligible Entrant.  
17. The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this  Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which adheres  to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.  
18. The Promotion and these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Eligible  Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts of England in connection with any  disputes concerning the Promotion.  
19. Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat may be used to advertise or promote the  Promotion. By entering the Promotion, Eligible Entrants agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, YouTube,  Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat; and to release Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or  Snapchat from all liability in relation to the Promotion. Any questions, comments or  complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to Step One and not Facebook,  YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat.
