PLA IS A BIO-BASED PLASTIC DERIVED FROM RENEWABLE RESOURCES, IN THIS AND MOST OTHER CASES CORN STARCH. THEREFORE PLA IS OFTEN REFERRED TO AS CORN STARCH PLASTIC.
